First step

The first phase of the free Nestlé course Yocuta takes place virtually. Classes are scheduled to begin in May. All 1.200 selected young people will participate in this initial phase. The online content totals more than 50 hours of learning.

It is divided into 14 distinct modules. Students will have five weeks to complete this phase. The learning paths cover important topics, including entrepreneurship, the job market, and nutrition. This online format allows young people from all over Brazil to participate in the free Nestlé course.

The in-person phase in SP and RJ

After completing the online phase, the best performing students advance. Eighty selected participants move on to the in-person phase of the free Nestlé course. At this stage, young people will have intensive practical and theoretical classes. A major new feature for the 2025 cycle is the geographical expansion of in-person classes.

In addition to the classes traditionally held in São Paulo, there will be rounds in Rio de Janeiro. The classes in the capital of Rio de Janeiro will take place at the Gastromotiva Refectory. This space offers daily meals to the homeless population.

Nestlé Free Course Focus

The central focus of the free Nestlé course Yocuta is youth employability. José Argolo, Business Executive Officer of Nestlé Professional in Brazil, reinforces the impact of the program. “With each edition, Nestlé realizes the impact that Yocuta has on the lives of these young people,” he says. Argolo highlights that gastronomy is one of the sectors that generates the most jobs in the country.

It is a vast field for the individual entrepreneurship. He also expressed enthusiasm for the new partnerships. They allow for the expansion of training on crucial topics such as food safety and combating waste. This free Nestlé course It therefore aims to prepare and connect young people to the gastronomic job market.
