What is the objective of the course and its workload?
The main objective of the undergraduate course in Pedagogy at the Federal University-UFU is train professionals qualified to work in basic education, promoting inclusive and effective pedagogical practices. Lasting four years, the free online course (EAD) has a total workload of 3.500 hours, which includes supervised internships, extension curricular activities and complementary activities.

Assessments are carried out in person at the centers and activities are online on the Moodle platform, offering flexibility and quality.
Distribution of vacancies and available centers
The 210 places on the free online course (EAD) are distributed across five centers, strategically located to serve different regions:
- Araguari-MG: 40 vacancies
- Viradouro-SP: 40 vacancies
- Uberaba-MG: 40 vacancies
- Patos de Minas-MG: 40 vacancies
- Uberlandia-MG: 50 vacancies
The Araguari and Uberlândia hubs have pending issues in the Capes SisUAB system, and candidates approved for these locations may opt for another hub if the pending issues are not resolved.
What will the selection process be like?
The selection process will be carried out in a single stage, of an eliminatory and classificatory nature, consisting of:
- Assessment of academic record: Grades for Portuguese and Mathematics from the final year of high school will be analyzed.
- Online writing test: It will be held on January 19, 2025, from 14:15 pm to XNUMX:XNUMX pm, with correction following strict criteria to assess reading, writing and textual comprehension skills.
Candidates applying for reserved places must meet the requirements of the quota policies described in the notice.

Those who have already completed or will be completing high school by the application period can participate in the selection process for the undergraduate course.
