If you are interested in specializing in technical universe of musical events, a new opportunity has just arisen! Registration is now open for the second edition of Virada de Palco, a free technical course that offers training for roadies, essential professionals in the technical support of shows and performances.
With classes scheduled to take place from the 27th to the 31st of this month, the free technical course aims to train your participants in practical and theoretical skills to act as stage assistants.
Government support and implementation in two locations
The initiative, which has an investment of R$100 from the Culture Support Fund (FAC), is promoted with the support of the Government of the Federal District. Classes will be taught in person in two administrative regions of the DF: Ceilândia and Recanto das Emas.

In Ceilândia, the activities will take place at Jovem de Expressão, from 9 am to 12 pm. In Recanto das Emas, the course will be held at the Instituto Federal de Brasília (IFB), in the afternoon, from 14 pm to 18 pm. To make travel easier, the organization will provide free transportation to students in the Recanto class, with departure and return scheduled at the Plano Piloto Bus Station.
Program content and certification
With a total workload of 20 hours per class, the free technical course will cover everything from introductory notions about the role of a roadie to specific practices, such as instrument equipment, use of technical equipment and stage organization. At the end, all approved participants will receive a certificate of completion, adding value to their resume and increasing their chances of entering the events market.

Registrations must be made by filling out the project's online form (click here). However, it is worth remembering that registration does not automatically guarantee a place. Classes will have a maximum capacity of 15 students, and women and people with disabilities will have priority in the selection process.
