How the Selection Process Works
The IF Sudeste MG selection process has different stages, which vary according to the chosen course. For concomitant and subsequent technical courses, the selection criteria will be carried out through a draw, scheduled to take place on January 16, 2025. Candidates for technical courses integrated should participate in a test with 45 objective questions, covering subjects such as Portuguese, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Geography and History, scheduled for December 22nd.
For undergraduate vacancies, an objective test with 45 questions and an essay will also be held in the afternoon of the same day. Postgraduate courses, in turn, have specific selection criteria, which vary according to the chosen course and the program requirements.
Furthermore, the selection process adopts the Quota Law (Law 14.273, of 2023), which reserves 50% of the vacancies for students from the public school system and for specific groups, such as low-income candidates, self-declared black, brown or indigenous people, and people with disabilities. This policy ensures that the process is more inclusive and accessible for different student profiles.
