A electrical engineer from Paraná Patrícia Poloni Meneghetti made history by becoming the first woman in Brazil to be certified by Tesla, a North American company recognized worldwide for its technological innovations. Patrícia, who has a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste), Foz do Iguaçu campus, now plays a crucial role in the operations, installations and maintenance of Tesla's advanced energy storage systems in Brazil.
Patrícia's trajectory in the energy area began during her master's degree, where she dedicated herself to studying energy microgrids. That work was essential for her to obtain her first professional opportunity at the International Renewable Energy Center (Cibiogás), located at Itaipu Parquetec, in Foz do Iguaçu.
