Funai Competition: Check now what to expect from the notice and the foundation and the possible vacancies available in the organization's new competition
The long-awaited notice for the Unified National Competition is about to be launched, bringing with it the expectation of vacancies from the National Foundation of Indigenous Peoples (Funai). It is expected to be announced in the next December 20th, as announced in this week's official schedule.
Founded by Law No. 5.371 in 1967, Funai celebrates 56 years with a fundamental role in protecting indigenous lands, coordinating policies for isolated peoples and development sustaintable of these communities. Its actions are based on respect for the culture and traditions of indigenous peoples, seeking to guarantee their autonomy and self-determination.

With this definition, the publication of the opening notice is getting closer, with forecast for January 20, 2023.
The application of the tests is scheduled for 05 May 2024. The 502 authorized places are part of thematic blocks “5. Social Policies, Justice and Health” and “8. Intermediate level".
It is important to highlight that the event already had a specific committee for preparing the Basic Project, which previously detailed the stages of the tests, the application locations and the estimated number of registrants.

Funai has an administrative structure that includes the Directorate for Promotion of Sustainable Development, Directorate of Territorial Protection and Directorate of Administration, in addition to bodies such as the Internal Affairs, Ombudsman's Office, Internal Audit, Specialized Federal Prosecutor's Office and the Indian Museum. Its operations cover the entire country through Regional Coordinations, Coordinations Local Techniques, Ethno-environmental Protection Fronts and Ethno-environmental Protection Bases.
The Funai competition offers a unique chance for professionals interested in the indigenous cause and the country's sustainable development. With registrations open on January 19, 2024 and tests in 217 cities across the country on May 5, the event has 512 vacancies at secondary and higher education levels. Dates were set to ensure sufficient time for preparation for candidates, in agreement between the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services and the organizing committee, Cegranrio.
