In November, the two fuels, gasoline and diesel, recorded an exponential increase in service stations throughout Brazil
According to the UOL website, again the value of fuel diesel and gasoline at service stations in Brazil rose again after three months of consecutive declines, based on the Ticket Log Price Index (IPTL), Edenred Brasil's brand for fleet management and mobility solutions.
This increase was recorded a few days before the end of the month, with the average price of common diesel rising 0,8% at service stations in Brazil, also found at R$ 7,02 per liter. When compared to the average of November 2021, which was BRL 5,61 reais per liter, the increase reaches 25%.
With the S-10 diesel, the variations in fuel prices followed the same trend, being sold at R$ 7,11 reais, compared to R$ 7,06 in October. “With the exception of the Southeast Region, service stations rose again in almost all of Brazil”, according to Douglas Pina, general director of Mobility at Edenred Brasil.

“If we analyze the first half of November we can already identify this behavior of increase in the prices of fuels, which is validated at the end of the month, with the highest variation in the state of Sergipe, which was 3,38% for the common type, and in Ceará, 2,64% for the S-10.”
In the Southeast region, common diesel fell by 0,13% compared to October prices, at R$6,67 reais, while S-10 remained stable, being sold at R$6,80 reais.
The North Region leads the chain of increase in diesel and gasoline fuels with the highest values, with the common one sold at R$7,44 reais (+0,94%) and the S-10 at R$7,543 reais (+1,09 %). The IPTL is calculated based on fueling carried out at the 21 Ticket Log accredited service stations.

The price of gasoline in the month of November in the city of São Paulo was R$ 4,96, an increase of 2,26% compared to the average for the month of October, according to ValeCard, a specialist in fleet management solutions and means of payment, according to transactions carried out at service stations in the capital of São Paulo between the 1st and 28th of November.
