G.Future, Gerdau's trainee program designed for professionals who want to prepare for new career opportunities, has 11 positions available for women
In the quest to form an increasingly diverse team, the steel multinational Gerdau is recruiting women who want to embark on the challenge of the G.Future Trainee Program and who are willing to help build the Gerdau of the future. There are 11 vacancies throughout Brazil, exclusively for them.

Over the course of 18 months, the people who will be part of Gerdau's G.Future trainee team will have the opportunity to participate in the development of technical and behavioral content that will accelerate their training in topics such as business, safety, leadership, management routine, projects and people.
The knowledge acquired in the program will be put into practice in a challenge project in the corresponding area of activity, where there will be day-to-day situations. In addition, the team will be monitored and supported by Gerdau leadership in technical mentoring and conversations about development.

In all, there are 11 Gerdau trainee vacancies available in the states of Pernambuco (1 vacancy), Rio de Janeiro (2 vacancies), Minas Gerais (6 vacancies), Rio Grande do Sul (3 vacancies) and São Paulo (3 vacancies) .
G.Future is a trainee program for women and men, but these 11 open positions are exclusively for women
Gerdau's objective is to form a team with gender equality, therefore, it is guaranteeing 50% of vacancies in the trainee program for female professionals. Women (cisgender or transgender) who completed their graduation between June/2018 and June/2020 can participate in the selection process.
The selected candidates will receive a salary and benefits, such as: private pension plan, telemedicine, medical assistance and medication assistance, meal vouchers, dental assistance and transport or charter vouchers.

The selection process for the trainee program includes a behavioral test, logical reasoning test, online interviews, panel and interviews, and a technical visit to the nearest Gerdau industrial unit. The admission and start of activities is expected to start in November 2020.
