Today's technology apps, such as Kwai and TikTok, are looking for young professionals in Latin America and even steal employees from each other
Increased use of large enterprise technology applications TikTok, Kwai, among others, in Latin America is done, in the vast majority, by hiring local professionals. These companies even compete with each other for the talent they want to retain.
TikTok, Kuaishou (known as Kwai), Huawei and Didi (owner of 99 in Brazil) have been hiring and boosting the careers of young technology professionals in exchange for specialized knowledge and experience in relation to the region where they live.
These cutting-edge applications, developed where US and European companies have long enjoyed prestige, put Chinese companies at a competitive advantage over their competitors, according to a report published on the Rest of World website.

The new sector of the world's job market
The report interviewed nine professionals from Chinese technology companies, such as TikTok and Kwai, in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia, the largest markets in Latin America, and found that Chinese technology companies technology serve as a gateway for young people into the corporate world in their region.
Young people with young age and professional experience take on mid-to-high-level management positions in marketing, operations and compliance, and also become professionals in translating these corporations' objectives to Latin American markets.
Over time, other tech companies compete for these employees, stealing local talent from each other.
Attractive salaries and flexible hours
Also according to the report, some of the Chinese companies offer high wages and even pay in US dollars, which the majority of North American and European companies, which have established themselves on the continent, do not offer.
Qualities like freedom to be creative and the attribution of major goals to these employees were also cited as stimuli for these professionals to prefer Asian companies.
