The Federal Institute is offering 392 places in undergraduate courses without the need for exams or ENEM! This unique opportunity is intended for those who want to enter higher education this year.

Imagine being able to enroll in a higher education course without having to face long hours of studying for tests, entrance exams or the ENEM.

This reality is within your reach, but the opportunity is for a select few and time is running out. The Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFSC), one of the most prestigious institutions in the country, has opened almost 400 vacancies in several undergraduate courses.

And the best part: the selection will be made based solely on academic records. Want to know how to take advantage of this opportunity? Keep reading to find out all the details and how to secure your spot.

Golden opportunity at IFSC

IFSC, recognized for its excellence in technical and higher education, has just announced Notice 12/2024, offering 392 remaining places in undergraduate courses for entry this year.

The vacancies are distributed across different campuses throughout the state of Santa Catarina, and selection will be carried out without the need for tests or entrance exams.

According to the Institute itself, the selection process will be based exclusively on the analysis of the candidates' academic records, which makes this an unmissable opportunity for those who wish to begin a new academic journey.

Available courses and vacancies

The institution offers vacancies in different areas, from engineering to multimedia production, covering both daytime and nighttime periods.

According to the IFSC, the campuses in Chapecó, Florianópolis, Gaspar, Itajaí, Jaraguá do Sul, Palhoça and São José are among those that offer these opportunities.

Some of the courses available include:

  • Control and Automation Engineering: 36 vacancies (Chapecó)
  • Mechanical Manufacturing: 28 vacancies (Chapecó)
  • Civil Engineering: 3 vacancies (Florianopolis)
  • Systems Analysis and Development: 3 vacancies (Gaspar)
  • Fashion design: 27 vacancies (Jaraguá do Sul)

These are just some of the options offered. IFSC is known for its variety of courses and the quality of teaching, which aims to train professionals qualified for the job market.

How to apply?

Applications for these vacancies are open until tomorrow, August 30, 2024, at IFSC Admission System.

Best of all, there is no registration fee, making access even easier for all interested parties. After registering, candidates must submit the necessary documentation by September 2, 2024.

Selection Criteria

The selection process will be based on three main criteria, all related to high school grades:

  1. Grades from the last year of high school.
  2. High school certification grades by ENEM (editions from 2009 to 2016).
  3. High school certification grades by Encceja (editions from 2017 to 2023).

Candidates will be assessed based on their final grades in Portuguese and Mathematics, and a specialized IFSC committee will analyze and score the grades presented.

With this initiative, IFSC facilitates access to higher education, providing a unique opportunity for those seeking quality training without going through the stress of exams. But be careful: the deadline is almost over, and this opportunity could be the gateway to a promising future.

What do you think of selection processes that do not require tests or Enem scores? Do you think it is a fair way of admission compared to traditional entrance exams? Leave your opinion in the comments!
