About the LNG terminal in Santa Catarina
The project in São Francisco do Sul includes a floating liquefied natural gas unit and a small gas pipeline, about 30 kilometers long, which includes a two-kilometer submarine stretch in Babitonga Bay. The ship will be 300 meters from the coast.
The FSRU will have the capacity to supply 15 million cubic meters of fuel per day to supply local industries, such as ceramics, metalworking and glass, in addition to supplying the demand for thermoelectric plants in regions close to the enterprise and generating jobs in the state.
