At the beginning of the month, the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Infrastructure, published the invitation to tender of the area located in the Port of Vila do Conde, in Pará, where the construction of a thermoelectric plant (UTE) and a floating storage and regasification unit for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) will take place.
For the implementation of the undertakings, the opening of 800 jobs related to the areas of civil construction and electromechanics is foreseen. In addition, it is estimated that around 60 technical and higher-level workers will be hired at the peak of operations.
