Government announces injection of R$57,4 billion that aims not only to strengthen the Unified Health System (SUS), but also revolutionize the national production of medicines, vaccines and technological equipment.
According to the planning, the Economic-Industrial Health Complex (Ceis) will be the main beneficiary of this amount, with the mission of reducing the vulnerabilities of the SUS and increasing the population's access to new therapies and technologies.
This investment, which is the largest in the last ten years, represents a powerful alliance between the public and private sector, seeking innovation and dynamism in Brazilian public health.
According to the Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation and the Health Economic-Industrial Complex (Sectics), Carlos Gadelha, the magnitude of this investment must be highlighted:
- Brazil leads growth in global aviation, but the rise in the dollar threatens companies, makes tickets more expensive and puts the sector's expansion at risk
- Discovery in volcanoes reveals that magma can contain up to 200 TIMES more rare earths: The future of technology at risk!
- Brazilians tired of the justice system are selling labor lawsuits and receiving money in up to 24 hours
- Company announces OVER R$1 BILLION and 1,5 job openings in investment that promises to revolutionize Brazilian agriculture
“We have never had an investment program of this magnitude. It is the largest investment in the history of Brazil in the public network, in partnership with the private sector. This interaction gives rise to the necessary dynamism for the private sector to serve the SUS, guided by the public. This will not only generate jobs and income, but will also boost national innovation“He said.
The relevance of this financial contribution is also reflected in six new contracts signed that are part of Nova Indústria Brasil (NIB). With these six contracts, the government begins a new phase of Brazilian industrial policy, focused on the inclusion of new partners and the definition of ambitious goals for the coming years.
Ceis and the new Brazilian industrial era
The Economic-Industrial Health Complex (Ceis) is one of the major focuses of the Ministry of Health for the coming years. The reconstruction of this complex not only strengthens the sector's confidence, but also stimulates an environment conducive to massive investments in public-private partnerships.
These partnerships are expected to mobilize around $ 30 billion annually, boosting industrial development in Brazil for the next four years.
With this strategy, Brazil is preparing for a new era of industrialization, where the focus is to generate employment, income and, above all, guarantee a more robust and efficient public health system. Health in Brazil will never be the same after this massive investment, says the government.
Do you think this investment will be enough to transform public health in Brazil? Or are there still challenges that the government will need to overcome to guarantee the efficiency of the SUS? Leave your opinion in the comments!
*I'll only believe it when I see it! It will indeed create more billionaires based on public money and we, the poor, will be even poorer, eating dust*
