A new competitor for the Hilux is arriving: the New Rampage Rebel Ignition can now be reserved and offers several differences. The model is more powerful, technological and has an exclusive design.
After weeks of teasers and sneak peeks, RAM's special series for the new Rampage has finally been officially launched. Named Rampage Rebel Ignition, this new product arrives on the market with the aim of boosting the truck's first year in Brazil, bringing a series of aesthetic differences both inside and outside. With a suggested price of R$286.990, the Hilux's direct competitor is now available for reservation, promising to win over pickup truck enthusiasts with its exclusive design and cutting-edge features.
New Rampage Rebel Ignition delivers exclusive design
With elements inspired by 1500 TRX Ignition United States edition, the Rampage Rebel Ignition has an exclusively orange body and black paint on the roof, wheels, door handles and rear view mirrors. In addition, it has unique stickers on the hood on the sides, as well as a black sea top and Santo Antônio.
In the cabin, the new Rampage Rebel Ignition, a Hilux competitor, has black leather and suede seats with orange stitching, in line with the body color. There is also a 'Rebel' badge embroidered on the back of the front seats and black rubber mats with raised edges.

Among the standard equipment, the Hilux competitor gains items that in other versions are only optional. This is the case with the 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with subwoofer 6-inch, with 360 watts of power, electrical controls on the passenger seat with 12 adjustments and LED ambient lights.
The others are common to all versions, 12,3-inch Uconnect multimedia with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10,3-inch digital instrument panel, dual zone digital air conditioning, induction charger, front optical assembly and rear LED display, 7 airbags, adaptive cruise control, frontal collision alert with autonomous emergency braking, blind spot and rear cross traffic monitoring, lane departure alert, among others.
New Rampage delivers 272 horsepower
The Rebel Ignition edition celebrates the first year of the pickup truck developed and produced in the country. As previously mentioned, the inspiration came from the 1500 TRX Ignition Edition special series.
The new Hilux competitor only comes with the 2.0 Hurricane four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine. It generates 272 horsepower and 40,8 kgfm of torque with the 9-speed automatic transmission. The traction is all-wheel drive and is reduced to 4×4.
It is worth mentioning that, after closing 2023 with record sales, RAM promises to repeat the feat this year and once again achieve maximum performance in pickup truck sales in Brazil. Proof of this can be seen now with the figures for the year to date.
According to stellantis, the lamb brand sold, from January to July this year in the Brazilian market, more than the entire volume delivered last year. In practice, 17.469 vehicles were delivered in 7 months compared to 17 sold over the course of a full 12 months.

In addition to the new Hilux competitor, the new RAM Rampage Rebel has been present in stores since 2023 and closed the month of February in the top 5 best-selling pickup trucks in the country, with 2.101 registrations, going head to head with models such as Fiat Strada, Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and others.
