Major company Hitachi Energy brings eco-sustainable machinery and equipment to help decarbonize the wind energy sector

O event's audience Brazil Windpower 2022 took place in the Jabaquara neighborhood, in the great capital São Paulo, and brought together many important names in the wind energy sector. In this sense, Hitachi Energy was present and brought innovations and technology aimed at sustainability and decarbonization. After all, the company has assumed a constant commitment to the environment and society.

Exhibitor Glauco de Freitas, Hitachi Energy Marketing and Sales Director, was at the company's stand and spoke more about the new technologies. Hitachi Energy's EconiQ™ Line Brings Eco-Sustainable Products to the Wind Power Industry for Decarbonization

During the event, Hitachi Energy's representative, director Glauco de Freitas, spoke about the newest release and investment of the company, the EconiQ™ line. However, this line has an eco-efficient portfolio to reduce the environmental impact and increase energy efficiency, while stimulating investments in technology for the future.

However, the new line brings a combined network of products and services focused on sustainability and decarbonization. Therefore, Hitachi Energy presents a portfolio of technology without SF6, highly revolutionary for high voltage and very efficient transformers and clean production. Among the products in this section, the following stand out:

  • EconiQ LTA Disconnector Circuit Breaker;
  • EconiQ Live Tank Breaker – LTA;
  • EconiQ ELK-04 145kV gas insulated switchgear;
  • Gas Insulated Line EconiQ ELK-3 420 kV;
  • EconiQ TG Gas Insulated Current Transformer.

New EconiQ™ line includes consulting services for companies to take sustainability measures

In addition to highly efficient and technological products, Hitachi Energy also brings a set of consulting services to encourage the use of sustainability in wind energy projects. In this sense, the company provides both consultancy and training services for the use of eco-sustainable products.

EconiQ™ implementation services provide a detailed mapping of all carbon dioxide equivalent emissions from service and project activities. Thus, the team of experts is able to raise awareness and optimize execution to reduce or even avoid its impact, in addition to offsetting the remaining carbon footprint.
