The Hyundai Creta Turbo that was presented with a Facelift in Asia was less strange than the current one and, just as the brand did with the HB20, the Creta was “repaired” there. The big difference between the current Brazilian model and the new Asian one is the redesigned design and also the engine. The new SUV now has a new grille with triangular chrome elements.
The headlights have also been renewed and the set remains divided and Full LED. To complement it, there is a gray appliqué at the base of the bumper. On the sides, nothing different, with two-tone paintwork, diamond-cut wheels up to 18 inches and chrome door handles and window frames.
SUV from Hyundai receives new engine
In terms of engine, the model that promises to lead the SUV segment receives a new, unprecedented package. It is the 1.5 four-cylinder Turbo that features direct fuel injection and, although abroad it only runs on gasoline, in Brazil it will be flex fuel.
The vehicle delivers 162 horsepower and 24,5 kgfm of torque, and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8,1 seconds. Its performance is much better than the current one in the country, and its consumption averages are excellent, reaching 11,9 km/L in the city and 13,2 km/L on the highway.
This new engine it will replace the 2.0 aspirated Flex which here in Brazil has 166 horsepower and 20,6 kgfm of torque, coming coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Although this 2.0 has a good performance here, the new 1.5 in the Hyundai Creta Turbo manages to be much more economical.
