O Federal Institute of Southeast Minas Gerais (IF Southeast MG), in collaboration with the City of Cataguases, opened registrations for the free Computer Operator course, scheduled to begin in May. The action is part of the Thousand Women Program, aimed at promoting women's economic autonomy in vulnerable situations, through free technical training, according to the Marcelo Lopes website.
The course is intended for women aged 16 and over, with special attention to those served by social programs. The proposal aims to expand opportunities professionals in the information technology sector, in addition to reinforcing the institutional commitment to gender equity and inclusion.
In-person classes and monthly incentive grant
The course will be taught in person at the Cataguases Campus of IF Sudeste MG, located on the third floor of Colégio Cataguases. Classes will take place from Monday to Friday, from 13:17 pm to 10:XNUMX pm, with a total duration of approximately four months. The workload is 220 hours, divided between theoretical and practical content.

During the training period, the students will receive a grant of R$140 per month, intended to support your stay in the course. To do so, it is necessary to present bank details at the time of enrollment.
Registration period and required documents
Registration must be completed in person between April 14 and 24, 2025. Interested parties should go to one of the following locations: CRAS Ana Costa Valentim (Leonardo neighborhood), CRAS José de Lima Monteiro (Sereno neighborhood), CRAS José Cipriano Fiel (Justino neighborhood) or to the headquarters of the Single Registry (Centro de Cataguases).
To complete the registration, it is mandatory present an official photo ID, CPF, updated proof of residence and bank details for depositing the scholarship.
