IFB offers more than 1500 vacancies in free technical courses for those who have completed high school

The IFB has thousands of vacancies in free technical courses for those who have completed elementary and high school.

O Federal Institute of Brasilia (IFB) ends the week on a high note, opening 1.514 vacancies in free courses at its ten units in the Federal District. are opportunities to learning distance and face-to-face learning, for those who have completed high school and seek technical training in various areas, such as administration, agriculture, electronics, biomedical equipment, gastronomy, baking and audiovisual production.

Who can apply for vacancies in free technical courses?

1.044 vacancies are open in free courses for candidates with a secondary level, 180 vacancies for candidates with a post-secondary level at distance learning modality, 200 for Secondary Education Integrated with Youth and Adult Education (Proeja) and 90 opportunities in free technical courses concurrently or subsequent to high school students, located in the Integrated Development Region of the Federal District and Surroundings (Ride). For those who already have completed high school, vacancies are for the following free courses:

For those who are over 18 years old and have completed primary education (and do not have secondary education), the vacancies made available by the IFB are:

Registration for free IFB courses is done online.

Registration for training courses is completely free and online, and the registration period runs from April 19th to May 19th through the official IFB website. The ten IFB campuses are open to those who need to use computers and the internet to register online and clarify doubts about the public notice.

The IFB is present in Brasília (north wing), Gama, Estrutural, Ceilândia, Planaltina, Recanto das Emas, Samambaia, Riacho Fundo, São Sebastião and Taguatinga. 

The final selection will be made through an electronic draw, the result of which will be announced on June 28th and the start of classes is scheduled for the new school semester, with a projection for August 16th, 2023.

IFB has vacancies in free courses exclusively for quotas

The IFB reserves more than half of its places for affirmative action. The candidate enrolled in the institutional or legal affirmative action vacancy reserves will only compete for opportunities in free technical courses by proving the conditions through documents and, if necessary, a bank established for specific actions.

The amount of 60% of the total vacancies will be aimed at candidates who have attended and completed the previous modality of education entirely in public schools. It is worth mentioning that technical courses offer several benefits such as their duration, more accessible investment, training focused on practical activities, training recognized by the MEC and much more.
