The formation of the Federal Institute aims to select students for the Improvement Course in Special Education from an Inclusive Perspective, and aims to offer continued training for teachers and professionals who work in the Specialized Educational Service – AEE, primarily in the context of resource rooms and in the public education network.

This enables the improvement of knowledge that promotes the development of public students in Special Education (EPAEE) in the school context, ensuring quality education from an inclusive perspective.
Free courses with certificate from the Federal Institute It has a workload of 180 hours and will be divided into six modules, classes will be held in person, on weekends from August to December according to the schedule set out in the notice.
Each module will have a workload of 30 hours, with 20 hours completed in person and 10 hours remotely, through the preparation of activities that will be deposited in a virtual environment for evaluation by the teacher trainers.
To complete the receipt of the certificate, the student must be present in at least 75% of classes and complete the requested activities. The course will be held on IFMA campuses located in the cities of Açailândia, Bacabal, Caxias, Barreirinhas, Colinas, Codó, Imperatriz, São João dos Patos, Santa Inês and São Luís.
How to sign up for free courses with certificate
Registrations must be made using the form, between July 25th from 10 am to August 5th until 18 pm, according to the schedule set out in the notice. Candidates must submit the following documents at the time of registration:
- Official identity document with photo: identity card and CPF (If your number is not on the identity card);
- Reports, photos or other necessary documents, as described in the Notice, in cases of registration for reserved places;
- Documents that prove that the candidate fits into the target audience of the course, as described in the notice: employment contracts, work card, pay slip, pay slip or declaration from the institution. Vouchers intended to prove a valid relationship must have been issued no more than 20 days ago.
It is worth mentioning that the results of those selected for training at the Federal Institute will be announced on August 23, and the final classification of successful candidates will be done in ascending order of scores, considering the municipality and the module.
Upon registration, successful candidates must confirm their participation in the free courses with a certificate using a form that will be made available with the final result, within the deadline established in the schedule.
