IMMEDIATE VACANCIES: Become a teacher in free EAD Specialization and Postgraduate courses at the Instituto Federal do Paraná

Do you have the desire to boost your career and become a professor at a Federal Institute? This is your chance to embark on a new path in Higher Education, working as a Professor Trainer and TCC Supervisor at Free course Specialization in Professional Education, which will be carried out remotely – EAD.

To ensure that activities are carried out and that enrolled students are provided with adequate support, the Instituto Federal do Paraná – IFPR published the Notice 66/2024, opening registrations for 55 vacancies for Professor Trainer and Professor Advisor of TCC, aimed at Lato Sensu Postgraduate courses, in collaboration with the Open University of Brazil – UAB.

The goal of this initiative is to select 12 teacher trainers, each responsible for a course subject, in addition to 43 TCC Advisors, who will work with up to 10 enrolled students. The selection process is open to both IFPR employees and external candidates.

Responsibilities of Teacher Trainers and Supervisors:

Teacher trainers will be responsible for developing course plans using resources and methodologies appropriate for distance learning, encouraging student autonomy and integrating theory and practice. In addition, they must use the IFPR Virtual Learning Environment (AVA) to provide technological resources that promote cooperation and reflection on the content, providing students with a diversified teaching-learning experience.

Thesis Advisors, in turn, must prepare monthly reports, participate in forums and web conferences, and actively guide students, except in justified situations. They must access the IFPR AVA daily, provide individual guidance according to the calendar, follow the TCC schedule, respond to requests from the Course Coordinator and record students' grades punctually. Up to 43 vacancies are available for this position.

Requirements to work as a Postgraduate Professor:

For both positions, candidates are required to:

• Minimum of one year of experience in higher education
• Availability of 20 hours per week
• Bachelor's degree in any field or bachelor's degree with Pedagogical Training

The professionals hired will be responsible for teaching activities and developing the Lato Sensu Postgraduate courses in Professional Education. These positions are temporary and the remuneration is made through a scholarship, ranging from R$1.550,00 to R$1.850,00 per month, depending on the teacher's experience.

Selection

The selection will be carried out through Curricular Analysis, taking into account the criteria established in the notice, which evaluate the professional and academic experience of each candidate.

This selection process will be valid for two years from the date of approval, and it is important that each candidate follows all stages of the process.

Registrations

As registrations must be made using the form indicated in the notice, until 18/09/2024, where candidates must include supporting documents and fill in the data correctly.
