But be careful if you hope to relocate yourself in the oil and gas market and receive one of the highest salaries in the country, you will need to invest in qualification, said Firjan's Oil, Gas and Naval manager, Karine Fragoso.
Although wages in the oil and gas market are on average six times higher than in other industrial activities, it requires that the professional be very well trained. Knowing how to speak English is currently the big difference, because most companies are multinational.
For every new job directly in the oil, eight opportunities are created in the so-called multiplier effect, explains Karine. This means that with the recovery of the segment in Rio, the expectation is that there will also be new vacancies open in logistics, clothing, trade, hospitality companies, among others.
