Canada's Minister of Immigration needs to fill 1,4 million jobs to increase the country's workforce!
He is Brazilian and has the dream of live and get a job in Canada? Sean Fraser, Canada's Minister of Immigration, goes against the grain of the US and England – which currently practice strict policies against immigration, and announced a plan to receive about 1,4 million migrants in the next three years. “You see, it's simple: we need more people.”, said the minister.
Canada expects to receive 465 thousand new permanent residents in 2023, 485 thousand in 2024 and up to 500 thousand in 2025. This represents an increase of about 13% from the Canadian government's initial targets.
The minister's decision is due to the fact that Canada currently has tens of thousands of jobs available, but without anyone to fill them.

It is worth remembering that Canada has always been receptive to foreign labor, but this is the first time that this has been done on this scale.
“Canadians understand the need to increase our population if we are to meet workforce needs, if we are to balance a troubling demographic trend and continue to bring families together,” said Fraser.
According to the Canadian government, there is a lack of qualified labor in the sectors of civil construction, manufacturing industry, hotels, tourism and restaurants, but the most affected is medical services.
