The new plant in SP will employ up to 3 direct workers and should generate another 9 indirect jobs. The start of hiring is scheduled for October 2019.

In Conchal, SP, the Zanchetta Group is going to invest R$730 million in the construction of an industrial complex. The expectation is that the new venture will generate around 12 direct and indirect jobs. He takes advantage of the fact that Marfrig is calling 400 professionals to its factory in São Paulo to serve China.

The announcement was made this Tuesday, September 24, by the governor of São Paulo, João Doria, and by the president of Grupo Zanchetta, José Carlos Zanchetta.

According to the government, the project represents the largest private investment in the sector within the Food and Beverage Hub in São Paulo this year.

The Secretariat for Economic Development, through the Minha Chance Program, will offer labor qualification courses for rural producers, civil and operational construction. The initiative aims to meet the demands of the Zanchetta Group.

“This is our obligation: to generate jobs and development, create facilities, streamline processes, reduce bureaucracy and also streamline exports”, said Doria.

The new venture will have a poultry breeding and processing complex; feed factories, flours and oils, industrialized products; refrigerator and water treatment, centralizing all stages of the food chain.

“This is a greenfield project, that is, we are going to start from scratch. We are working so that, in 24 months, it will be possible to complete the works and start activities, which will allow us to expand our presence in the domestic market and generate surpluses for export”, said Zanchetta.

The purpose of the Development Poles is to encourage and encourage increased industry productivity to attract investment, boost innovation, as well as generate jobs and income, optimizing public policies in the same geographical region that directly or indirectly impact the productive sector.

The investment will impact 50 municipalities, creating job opportunities not only in Conchal, but also in the vicinity of the municipalities and districts of Água Espraiada, Aguaí, Ajapi, Analândia, Araras, Artur Nogueira, Campo Alto, Carandina, Cordeirópolis, Corumbataí, Cosmópolis, Engenheiro Coelho, Estiva Gerbi, Holambra, Ibicatu, Itapira, Jaguariúna, Leme, Limeira, Martim Francisco, Membeca, Mogi Guaçu, Mogi Mirim, Paulínia, Pedreira, Pirassununga, Santa Cruz da Conceição and Santo Antônio de Posse.
