High Prices: Gasoline in Rio de Janeiro registers an increase in the first week of June

Gasoline is more expensive in the capital of Rio de Janeiro with an average of R$ 5,412 per liter, according to a survey by Valecard

In early June, gasoline in Rio de Janeiro had a slight increase of 0,24% in price, with a liter costing an average of R$ 5,412. Between May 29th and June 4th, there was a small jump compared to the previous week, which had an average value of R$ 5,399 per liter. The analysis was carried out exclusively by ValeCard, a company specializing in fleet management.

Price variation in the neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro

When we observe the wonderful city, we notice that the price of gasoline fluctuated significantly between the neighborhoods, reaching a variation of up to 23,2%. Castelo led the ranking of the most expensive neighborhoods, with an average value of R$ 6,093 per liter. Flamengo and Urca were also on the list of the most expensive, with averages of R$5,727 and R$5,690, respectively.

On the other hand, Santíssimo stood out for offering the cheapest liter of gasoline from the city, costing R$ 4,945. Other neighborhoods such as Irajá and Méier also had more affordable prices, with amounts of R$ 5,082 and R$ 5,119, respectively.
