The official authorization of the new public tender for the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro), through the publication in an extra edition of last Friday's (16) official Union Gazette. The Inmetro Contest had already been announced by the vice president Geraldo Alckmin, within a series of federal competitions authorized by the Minister of Management and Innovation of Public Services, Esther Dweck.

According to the authorization published by the DOU, the institution now has a period of six months to publish the notice of the public tender, that is, until December 16th. The distribution of vacancies by positions will be 40 for executive analyst in metrology and quality, with starting salaries of R$ 2.619,58. As for the position of researcher – technology in metrology and quality, there will be 60 vacancies with starting salaries of R$ 4.912,31.
