Jobs in sight, be aware that Inpasa's forecast is that the plant that will be installed in Sidrolândia – MS will start operating in the second half of 2024

The Inpasa Group, a renowned company in the renewable energy sector, has just announced a colossal investment of R$1,2 billion in the construction of a new corn ethanol plant in Mato Grosso do Sul. This exciting news not only reinforces the company's commitment company with the production of clean energy, but also promises to transform the region's economy, creating more than 2 jobs in construction works and contributing to the advancement of the biofuel industry in Brazil.

Inpasa's expansion in Brazil promises to generate thousands of jobs

Founded in Paraguay in 2007, the Inpasa Group took a significant step towards sustainable growth by starting operations in Brazil in 2018. With a headquarters in Paraguay and three units already operational in Brazil (two in Mato Grosso and one in Mato Grosso do South), the new plant in Sidrolândia will be Inpasa's sixth plant on the continent. This expansion is an indication of the company's confidence in the potential of the Brazilian renewable energy market.

The new corn ethanol plant will be strategically built in Sidrolândia, about 70 kilometers from the state capital, Campo Grande. Inpasa already operates a unit in the municipality of Dourados, also in Mato Grosso do Sul. Construction of the plant is expected to be completed by the second half of 2024. During the construction period, more than two thousand temporary jobs will be created, and the plant in operation will provide around 400 permanent jobs.

The arrival of Inpasa in Sidrolândia represents a milestone for the region and for the state of Mato Grosso do Sul as a whole. In addition to the direct jobs generated by the plant, the company also promises to promote the local commodity market by transforming sorghum into biofuel. This will contribute to the verticalization of the raw material and will open doors to more efficient production, increasing income and promoting sustainable economic development.

Inpasa invests BRL 100 million in wagons and locomotives to ensure logistical efficiency

Inpasa is not just limited to the production of corn ethanol. It plays a crucial role in the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy matrix. The company aims to transform natural resources into renewable energy sources, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change. Furthermore, the verticalization of biofuel production helps to reduce the carbon footprint and promote environmental sustainability.

Recently, the Inpasa announced an investment of BRL 100 million in the acquisition of 50 wagons and two locomotives. This initiative aims to double the capacity to transport ethanol by rail, making transport more efficient and sustainable. These wagons and locomotives will be operated by Rumo, a railway company, and represent a major step forward in optimizing biofuel transport logistics.
