Dover Supply Solution, a pioneer in compliance with the new RTM, makes a significant donation to the Institute.
This Thursday morning, July XNUMXth, the Institute of Weights and Measures (IPEM) enthusiastically welcomed the donation of an anti-fraud pump. This gesture was facilitated by Dover Fueling Solutions, the pioneer fuel pump manufacturer to adhere to Inmetro's innovative Technical Metrological Regulation (RTM). The donation aims to provide IPEM inspectors with the necessary tools to be trained in accordance with the new RTM.
Progress in guaranteeing metrological security
The general director of Dover, Stelmo Carneiro, made the symbolic delivery to the superintendent of IPEM-SP, Marcos Guerson, in an event that marked the celebration. Carneiro emphasized: “This is a historic milestone that represents the development of a technology capable of guaranteeing metrological safety at gas stations. This donation symbolizes IPEM's relevance in ensuring that inspections are carried out efficiently in the field. In this way, consumers, station owners and manufacturers can collaborate with society to ensure fair competition and ensure that the fuel transferred from the nozzle to the gas tank is indeed what is being purchased.”
In addition to the donation, Dover sent two specialist engineers who, during the XNUMXth and XNUMXth of July, were in charge of training the IPEM team. This action marks the first of a series of trainings scheduled for the entire country.

Dover at the forefront of RTM compliance
As the first manufacturer to fully meet Inmetro's requirements, Dover Fueling Solutions makes already approved equipment available to the market in full compliance with the new RTM. Updates include encrypted digital signature of information exchanged between the meter and pump electronics. In addition, the automation system and other peripherals of the station can be connected outside the sealed area, and there is a bluetooth communication port that allows the consumer to check the supply.
Dover has two lines ready for RTM: the Global 3G line, which includes Global Century and Global Vista, and the Helix line, composed of the Helix 1000 and Helix 4000, in addition to the Helix 5000 model, which was installed at the Galápagos Post, the first to operate in the Brazilian market.
