JBS invests 50 million dollars in a new factory in Saudi Arabia, creating 500 jobs and quadrupling production capacity.

A JBS, the largest meat producer in the world, announced the opening of a new chicken breading factory in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The inauguration is scheduled for November and represents an investment of 50 million dollars. This production unit is part of the company's larger strategy to quadruple its chicken production capacity in the country, reaching 40 thousand tons annually. Furthermore, the new factory will generate 500 jobs, contributing significantly to the local economy.

Expansion of JBS production capacity

A new factory in Jeddah will allow JBS to consolidate its presence in Saudi Arabia, increasing the production of breaded chicken.

The unit will quadruple the company's current production capacity in the country, which will increase from 10 thousand tons to 40 thousand tons per year.

This increase in production capacity is part of a strategy to sell higher value-added products in the region, which is an important market for JBS.

The investment of 50 million dollars in the new factory is one of JBS's largest in the region.

The factory in Jeddah will generate 500 direct jobs, providing new opportunities for local residents and strengthening the city's economy.

The creation of these job vacancies is a demonstration of JBS's commitment to the economic development of the regions where it operates.

In addition to the new factory in Jeddah, JBS recently opened a processing unit in the city of Dammam.

This unit has the capacity to produce around 10 thousand tons of products per year. With this expansion, JBS strengthens its infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, where it already has eight distribution centers.

These centers allow the company to maintain an efficient flow of products to meet the growing demand in the country.

JBS meeting with representatives of the Saudi government

This week, the Global CEO of JBS, Gilberto Tomazoni, met in São Paulo with representatives of the Saudi Arabian government to discuss new opportunities for investment in the country.

Present at the meeting were the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, the director of the Food Processing Sector, Khalid Al-Shehri, the head of the Mining Department, Matar Al Harthi, and the head of the Department of Strategic Sectors, Fahad Al Jubairy.

Saudi vision 2030 program

Discussions during the meeting were in line with the “Saudi Vision 2030” economic development program.

This program aims to connect investments with the creation of jobs and the promotion of a green economy.

JBS highlighted that the possibilities discussed are in line with the program's objectives, reinforcing the company's commitment to sustainable development and job creation.

Exports and infrastructure

JBS is one of the main exporters of meat to Saudi Arabia, and new factory in Jeddah will further strengthen this position.

With eight distribution centers in the country, JBS maintains a robust structure to ensure efficient delivery of its products.

The company continues to invest in infrastructure to support its growth and meet Saudi market demand.

The opening of the new chicken breading factory in Jeddah is a significant step for JBS in Saudi Arabia.

With an investment of 50 million dollars and the creation of 500 jobs, the company demonstrates its commitment to the economic development of the region.

The expansion of production capacity to 40 thousand tons per year will allow JBS to consolidate its presence in the Saudi market and strengthen its strategy of selling products with higher added value.

Meetings with representatives of the Saudi government and adherence to the “Saudi Vision 2030” program reinforce JBS's commitment to creating employment opportunities and sustainable development in the region.
