During the Brasil Hoje seminar, held in São Paulo last Monday (22), the J&F Group surprised the business sector with a large-scale announcement: investment of R$25 billion in Eldorado Brasil's line in Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul.
“This R$25 billion project is the construction of a second line. Today, we produce 1,8 million tons of cellulose and, with this project, we will add 2,6 million tons of cellulose” Batista said.

Wesley Batistaa, representing the J&F Group, enthusiastically shared the details of the venture. He highlighted that in addition to expanding production capacity, the investment will include the construction of a 90-kilometer railway extension, as well as investments in forestry areas and improvements to the factory itself.
According to Batista, this investment of R$25 billion in Eldorado's line will not only strengthen Eldorado Brasil, but will also open doors to new job opportunities. It is estimated that around 50 thousand new jobs will be created, 10 thousand during the construction phase of the new factory and another 2 thousand after its completion.
