BrasFELS Shipyard has been operating in Brazil since 2000, making continuous improvements in training and infrastructure and building a strong track record of project delivery in Brazil. BrasFELS projects include: Floating Production Units (FPU), Floating Production, Storage and Transfer Units (FPSO), drill ships, semi-submersible drilling rigs, platform support ships (PSV) and anchor handling tugs and supply (AHTS).
Furthermore, the Brasfels shipyard has a long partnership with Petrobras, the largest oil and gas company in the country. In 2022, the shipyard handed over to Petrobras the P-78 platform, which operates in the Búzios field, in the pre-salt Santos Basin. The platform has the capacity to produce 180 thousand barrels of oil and 7,2 million cubic meters of gas per day.
