Logistics – JSL purchases a carrier for BRL 97 million

With the purchase of Transportadora Rodomeu and Unileste, JSL states that the acquisition is in line with its strategy of growth, diversification and consolidation in the logistics sector

JSL, a company related to transport and logistics, purchased Transportadora Rodomeu Ltda and Unileste Transportes, a company specializing in the transport of gases, chemicals, machinery, equipment and general cargo, for R$ 97 million. JSL states that the acquisition is in line with its strategy of growth, diversification and consolidation in the logistics sector, in the transport of highly complex cargo.

Transportadora Rodomeu has been in the market since 1971 and specializes in the transport of gases, chemicals, machinery, equipment and general cargo.

JSL stated that the purchase is in line with its strategy of growth, diversification and integration in the logistics area. The acquisition also aims to increase the scale of professional transport of highly complex goods, such as: agricultural machinery and equipment, civil construction and goods in general, in addition to entering the compressed gas area, making the sector more diversified.

When the transaction is carried out, the purchase price, which is BRL 97 million, may be adjusted according to the regular adjustment of these operations. R$29,1 million will be paid on the closing date of the transaction and the remainder will be paid within 24 months.
