Campo de Baúna, in the Santos Basin
Campo de Baúna is located in the southern part of the Santos Basin. It originated from the former exploratory blocks SM-1288 and SM-1289, and was discovered by 1-BRSA-607-SPS (1-SPS-56) and 1-BRSA -658-SPS, in 2008. The oil well that is located in the Santos Basin, approximately 210 kilometers from the south coast of the state of São Paulo, with a water depth between 225 and 295 meters.
The Campo de Baúna collection system connects 6 oil producing wells, 3 water injection wells and 1 gas injection well to the FPSO, in the city of Itajaí. Oil flow is carried out through the outlet pump and floating hose connected to the pressure relief vessel. Most of the natural gas produced is reinjected into reservoirs in the concession area as a form of secondary recovery and consumed in the “gas lift” of its producing wells.
