With significant impacts on the crafts, construction, hospitality, information technology, specialized trade and food production sectors, the country is actively seeking qualified professionals to fill approximately 125 thousand jobs open.

According to data from Croatian Employment Statistics (CES), even with more than 88.300 registered unemployed people in May, the number of job openings exceeded this total, leaving around 36.700 positions without candidates.
