Nextracker said it had supplied more than 45GW of its NX Horizon solar tracker, saying it will help Elera Renováveis to increase the performance level of the Janaúba plant, lowering operating costs.
“Nextracker's regional office in Brazil will support the project with engineering consulting, as well as commissioning services, asset management and advanced data analysis for preventive maintenance. Installation crews will benefit from Nextracker's PowerworX Academy installer training program to learn best practices both onsite and at the company's training center in Sorocaba, state of São Paulo.”added the company
Branch of solar power plants in the country
Brazil currently fits into one of the largest poles of solar energy growth in the Latin American region, with around 7,4 GW of installed power. The state of Minas Gerais is the first in the list of Brazilian states with high generation capacity and supply of solar energy.
Now, the state is preparing to make room for Nexttracker's lineage of solar trackers, the largest supplier of photovoltaic system technology in the world.
