The GWM Haval H6 2025, one of the great attractions of the Beijing Motor Show in April, is ready to arrive in Chinese stores. This midsize SUV, which began to be offered in China starting at 117 thousand yuan (approximately R$87 thousand) in the basic version and reaching 143 thousand yuan (approximately R$106 thousand) In the top-of-the-line configuration, it promises a series of significant upgrades. However, for Brazilian fans of the model, there is some discouraging news, according to the website Autoesporte.
What's new in the GWM hybrid SUV?
The 6 GWM Haval H2025 hybrid SUV presents a noticeably more sporty and refined design. The restyling includes a new front grille, with a bolder shape, and 19-inch wheels painted black that give it a more modern and aggressive look. The bumper also received updates, including stylized details and a small spoiler, approaching the look of the GT version.
The most drastic change to the hybrid SUV occurs at the rear of the vehicle. In contrast to the common trend among Chinese SUVs, GWM chose to remove the fillet that connected the taillights. Now, the lanterns are completely separate and have received a new design, standing out for their more independent and modern appearance.

The interior space of the SUV
Inside, the Haval H6 2025 adopts a more minimalist style, with the elimination of physical buttons in favor of a cleaner center console. The dashboard has been redesigned with rubberized materials and imitation leather coverings, offering a feeling of sophistication. The screen of 10,2-inch instrument panel and 14,6-inch multimedia center now operate with a new operating system equipped with a Qualcomm chip, promising improvements in voice recognition and general performance.
Among the new technological resources, the 6 Haval H2025 hybrid includes a redesigned multifunction steering wheel, a head-up display and ventilation outlets for the front seats. The sound system has received an upgrade with the addition of a subwoofer, totaling nine speakers for a more immersive sound experience.
Engine and performance: What to expect?
In China, The 6 Haval H2025 hybrid is available with 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter hybrid turbocharged engines. The 1.5 engine develops 181 hp and 27,5 kgfm of torque, while the 2.0 engine delivers 235 hp and 38,5 kgfm. Depending on the version, the automated transmission can have seven or nine speeds, and all-wheel drive is standard on all versions.
Launched in China, the Haval H6 hybrid has a successful history, with more than 4 million units sold globally. In Brazil, the model has been available since 2022, with prices starting at R$214.000 for the HEV hybrid version and reaching R$319.000 in the GT configuration with PHEV plug-in system.
