Expansion into the consumer market
In 2022, Be8 served customers in 13 Brazilian states and expanded its exports to 12 countries, including South Africa, Bangladesh, Belgium, China, South Korea, Slovenia, Spain, India, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands and Pakistan.
The company also carried out the first export of biodiesel on a commercial scale from Brazil to the United States, reinforcing its international presence and the quality of the product produced in the country.
Investments and global presence
Be8 continued to expand its international presence in 2022, with the acquisition of a plant in Switzerland for the production of biodiesel from used cooking oil (UCO) and the purchase of the La Paloma complex, in Paraguay, for crushing soy and biodiesel production.
The company is also developing the Omega Green project, which will produce advanced biofuels to serve strategic sectors such as civil aviation and the chemical and petrochemical industry.
Throughout 2023, Be8 plans to focus on its growth in Brazil, Latin America and other regions, with the aim of becoming an agent of positive transformation in the energy scenario.
Sustainability will continue to be a premise in all company interactions, always seeking innovation and sustainable deliveries for people, business and the planet.
