The Federal Institute of Brasília (IFB), through Notice 4/2025 – DGGA/RIFB/IFBRASILIA, announced the vacancy opening for free Initial Training and Professional Qualification courses. Opportunities are for entry in the first semester of 2025, offering in-person and online training (EAD). Vacancies will be filled in the order in which the electronic form is submitted, ensuring quick access to those who wish to qualify.

The free courses offered by the IFB Gama Campus have as their main objective to provide professional qualification, preparing students for the job market. Courses are offered in person and online (EAD) formats, allowing participants greater flexibility. The workload varies depending on the course chosen, including activities such as practical classes, seminars, assessments and online forums.

Available vacancies and locations

Places are available for free in-person courses at the Gama Campus of the Federal Institute of Education (IFB) and for online courses (EAD) via the NEAD/Moodle platform. In total, 411 places are offered in different areas of knowledge, distributed among the following courses:

  • Basic Drawing (In-person – 15 places)
  • Basic Libras (In-person – 80 places)
  • Intermediate Libras (In-person – 40 vacancies)
  • 3D Printing – FDM: Practical Projects (In-person – 16 vacancies)
  • Basic Geoprocessing in QGIS Software (EaD – 300 vacancies)

Selection process

The selection criteria will be the chronological order in which the electronic form is submitted. There will be no test or CV analysis, and the vacancies will be filled until the limit is reached. There will be no stage for appeals or supplementation of information, so it is essential that candidates submit the documentation correctly at the time of registration.

Application requirements

Applicants must have the minimum level of education required for each course, as indicated in the notice, and submit complete documentation at the time of registration. For free online courses (EAD), it is necessary to have a computer or mobile device with internet access to follow the classes. Candidates must submit documents such as ID, CPF, proof of residence and academic transcript.

Selection process schedule

  • Publication of the Public Call: 04/02/2025
  • Registration period: 06/02/2025 to 16/02/2025
  • Enrollment analysis: 17/02/2025 to 21/02/2025
  • Final result announcement: 24/02/2025
  • Start of classes: 02/04/2025

Registration for free courses

Interested candidates must register between February 06 and 16, 2025 through the electronic forms available on the Instituto Federal-IFB website ( access face-to-face courses here), (access distance learning courses here). Since vacancies will be filled in the order in which applications are submitted, it is essential to register as soon as possible. All courses are free and offer certification valid throughout the national territory.
