Braspress, a logistics company, will open 350 jobs and intends to invest R$ 30 million in the unit in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais

Braspress Transportes Urgentes, the national leader in parcel transport, intends to invest a total of R$ 30 million in the new unit in Uberlândia, in the state of Minas Gerais, being the company's second unit in the city. The company still intends to open 350 new jobs and the vacancies will be linked to transport and logistics, but also to technology.

The new construction will occupy almost 20 m² of a total area of ​​almost 34 m² next to BR-050, in the north zone of Uberlândia. According to firm data, Braspress's average deliveries, according to numbers disclosed by the firm, is 2 million per month. The company is the only one that serves 100% of the national territory with 99% of capillarity served with its own resources. Today the company has 15 branches in Minas Gerais and 100 in all in Brazil, in addition to another seven in Latin America.

Entrepreneur Helou said that “We are a technology company focused on logistics. It is a fact that the activity was shrunk during the pandemic, but we did not stop”, when asked that even in the pandemic the company's buildings.

The new unit in Uberlândia will have characteristics of other Braspress hubs across the country, such as in the cities of São Paulo - SP, Rio de Janeiro -RJ and Curitiba - PR. The company present in the municipality since 1977, bet on the new headquarters due to the present characteristics of the city.

According to the businessman, the location will also favor the supply of cities in the Southeast and Midwest, with great ease of displacement.

Mayor Odelmo Leão, from the PP party, said that “The construction of the company's goods collection, separation and distribution center will bring investment and employment to our people, in a demonstration of confidence in the potential of our city”.
