We live in an era where issues related to human rights and diversity are increasingly present in the public debate and on the political agenda, both nationally and internationally. Human rights education is a crucial tool for developing a society that respects differences and promotes equality.

  • General Unit: Course presentation and setting on the Moodle platform.
  • Unit I: Fundamentals of human rights education, addressing diversity, children and adolescents, and strengthening the State that protects rights.
  • Unit II: Sexual and gender diversity, women's rights, with a focus on knowing how to combat distortions that deny rights.
  • Unit III: Non-violent communication, a culture of peace in schools and the power of communication based on human rights.
  • Unit IV: Issues involving foreigners, refugees and stateless people in Brazil, and the situation of the territory's original peoples.
