Requirements to apply for free and partial scholarships of Prouni 2022 – University for All Program
To participate in Prouni, it is necessary, first of all, to have taken Enem 2021 and obtained at least 450 points. The student must also not have scored zero in the essay. In addition, the program stipulates a series of socioeconomic criteria. Therefore, only people who:
- They attended all Basic Education in public schools;
- Attended all Basic Education or part of it in the private network with a full scholarship;
- Have a per capita family income of no more than 1,5 minimum wages for full scholarships and 3 minimum wages for partial scholarships;
- Have a disability;
- Be teachers of the public school system, integrating the permanent staff of some public institution (income criterion does not apply to teachers).
Novelty: another criterion for applying for Prouni vacancies is not having a higher education diploma. This edition, however, brings a new exception to this rule: people who have already graduated will be able to apply for scholarships, as long as they want to enroll in degree courses. The change, according to the MEC, was made to encourage teaching.
Enrollment: enrollment for this edition of Prouni 2022 will from 22rd to 25th of February. Students can consult the Prouni website, IN THIS LINK. The result of the first call will be released on March 2.
It is possible to start the search by the name of the course, the institution or the municipality. The site also has a tool to filter the results — students can view only distance or face-to-face courses, with or without quotas, and choose whether they want to view full or partial scholarships.
