O University for All Program (Prouni) announced the offer of more than 240 thousand scholarships for the second semester of 2024. This impressive number of scholarships promises to transform the lives of many Brazilians who dream of achieving higher education. Registration will be open between the 23rd and 26th of July.
The Ministry of Education (MEC) will provide exactly 243.850 scholarships in this edition. Of this total, 170.319 will be full scholarships (100%) and 73.531 partial scholarships (50%). The scholarships will be distributed among 367 courses in 901 institutions participating in the program.
Who can participate?
To enroll in Prouni, you must have participated in the National High School Exam (Enem) in 2022 or 2023, obtaining a minimum score of 450 points in the average of the tests and not having scored zero in the essay.

Full scholarships are aimed at candidates with a gross monthly family income per capita below one and a half minimum wages, while partial scholarships are for those with a gross monthly family income per capita of up to three minimum wages.
Registration and distribution of vacancies
Registration for Prouni is free and must be completed on the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education. The shortlist will be announced in two calls: the first on July 31st and the second on August 20th.
Anyone who is not selected in the first calls can express interest in participating in the waiting list between September 9th and 10th, with the list being published on September 13th in the Prouni System (Sisprouni).

Courses with the most scholarships
The administration course leads with the highest number of scholarships offered: 9.782 full and 5.333 partial. Next come law courses, with 14.231 scholarships (6.320 full and 7.911 partial), pedagogy, with 13.890 scholarships (10.298 full and 3.592 partial), and accounting sciences, with 9.599 scholarships (5.643 full and 3.956 partial).
