New electric scooter from Mercedes Benz has a modern and simple design, is light and can be transported anywhere with ease

Renowned car manufacturer Mercedes Benz has taken another step towards its vision of going all-electric by the end of the decade. Known for its luxury vehicles, the German brand is now expanding its horizon to innovative individual mobility solutions, presenting the Mercedes-AMG E Scooter. This unconventional novelty is a two-wheel folding electric scooter, with the signature of the three-pointed star of Mercedes-Benz. With a light weight of just 14,7 kg, this compact scooter can be easily transported in the trunk of an electric vehicle or conveniently taken on public transport, according to the Vrum website.

Despite its simple appearance, the modest Mercedes Benz electric scooter carries with it the grandeur and prestige of the brand's famous preparation and competition division, AMG. The acronym AMG was born from the initials of the surnames of engineers Hans Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher, and from the town of Großaspach, where it all began.

How did the idea for an electric scooter come about?

Since 1967, AMG has been synonymous with preparing Mercedes-Benz models for motor racing independently. The talent and passion of the team was so impressive that, in 1999, Mercedes Benz itself decided to make the division official. Since then, vehicles bearing the AMG acronym have become symbols of exclusivity, sportiness and exceptional performance. Now, AMG's winning story continues with the launch of the Mercedes-AMG E Scooter electric scooter, developed in partnership with Swiss micro mobility specialist Micro Mobility System.

The Mercedes-AMG E Scooter stands out right away with its elegant Matte Black design, conveying a sense of refinement in every detail. In addition, the electric scooter is designed with advanced connectivity for smartphones and their apps, allowing riders to attach their devices to the height-adjustable handlebars, ensuring ergonomic comfort for riders of different body types.

20cm Diameter Wheels and Adjustable Suspensions: Details of the Mercedes-AMG E Scooter

On the Mercedes Benz Scooter, every detail is carefully designed to offer an exceptional driving experience. Its wheels have a diameter of 20 cm, providing stability and maneuverability accurate on different types of terrain. In addition, the Mercedes Benz electric scooter features adjustable suspensions, ensuring a smooth ride even on uneven surfaces.

The Mercedes Benz Electric Scooter throttle is located on the right handle, offering intuitive and comfortable control. But here's an interesting detail: by turning the throttle forward, in the opposite direction to the conventional way, it acts as an engine brake. This feature allows kinetic recovery, transforming movement energy into battery charge, contributing to greater energy efficiency.

To ensure safety while riding, the Mercedes Benz electric scooter is equipped with drum brakes on both wheels, providing precise and reliable braking. In addition, it has a complete lighting system, allowing pilots to enjoy their journey even at night. And, of course, the iconic three-pointed star, positioned below the headlight, could not be missing, reinforcing the identity and prestige of the Mercedes Benz brand.

With all these design and technology features, the Mercedes-AMG E Scooter electric scooter offers a driving experience exciting, combining performance, comfort and safety in a single electric urban mobility vehicle.
