There are 15 positions exclusively for cis and trans women, in partnership with SENAI, in the Industrial Electrician course. What will you learn in the industrial electrician course?
The Industrial Electrician course offered by MetrôRio in partnership with SENAI aims to train participants to identify and correct defects, assemble and install electrical equipment and components in industrial plants. During the two-year course, you will learn how to operate low and high voltage electrical systems, following technical standards and current legislation.
The program includes two days of theoretical classes at SENAI, complemented by three days of practical experience at the MetrôRio Maintenance Center. Under the supervision of experienced professionals, the apprentices will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge directly at the company's facilities, acquiring valuable experience for their professional future.

Who can apply?
Vacancies at MetrôRio for Young apprentice 2025 are aimed exclusively at cis or trans women who meet the following requirements:
- Age between 18 and 21 years;
- Complete high school;
- Availability to work the morning shift, from 8am to 12pm;
- Not participating in another Young Apprentice program;
- Not having previously completed the Industrial Electrician course at SENAI.
In addition, you must present documents such as your ID, CPF, PIS, work card, voter registration card and proof of education. If you meet the criteria and are interested in entering the electricity sector, this could be the ideal opportunity to take the first steps in your career.
