The announcement took place yesterday morning (11/11), during the inauguration of the Tamboril Small Hydroelectric Plant (PCH), in Cristalina – Goiás. The works will be in charge of the company Tradener.
The São Bartolomeu Hydroelectric Complex comprises four plants, which will have a total installed capacity of 57,8 MW, enough to supply around 57 homes. The investment will be R$ 410 million.

PCH Tamboril, the first of the four plants, has an installed capacity of 15,8 MW — equivalent to the approximate consumption of 13 thousand homes, with investments of around R$ 110 million.
Representing the Minister of Mines and Energy, Bento Albuquerque, the Secretary for Energy Planning and Development of the MME, Paulo César Magalhães.
Paulo highlighted the importance of small hydroelectric plants for the security of the Brazilian energy matrix.
“For us, it is a source of great pride to inaugurate the PCH of Tamboril, which will join the other 421 PCHs and the 746 Hydroelectric Generating Centers (CGHs), already in operation in the country”, he said.
