The large Japanese multinational Modec is hiring specialized professionals for onshore and offshore activities in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo

Offshore vacancies for Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo were advertised through MODEC's official recruitment portal. This Wednesday, October 16, opportunities for professional mechanics were announced, in addition to other vacancies still open by the company on its official website. Candidates must be available to work in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. Inspection paralyzes FPSO operated by Modec in Santos Basin

Petrobras contracts two new FPSOs for Marlim and the units will be chartered with Modec and Yinson and should start operating in 2022 and 2023, respectively. The units will be operated and chartered for 25 years.

Modedc is in the market studying which shipyards, domestic and foreign, it should build its next FPSO, which will operate in the Buzios field, in the Santos basin, as of 2021.
