UFABC offers free postgraduate courses for teachers in Science Teaching, with 230 vacancies and starting in March 2025. Applications until 18/11.

According to UAB-UFABC Notice No. 15/2024, the specialization aims to develop advanced knowledge in science, helping teachers to transform the way they teach in schools and directly impact the student training.

Distribution of vacancies between face-to-face centers

As 230 vacancies available are organized according to the location of the support centers, distributed in different regions of São Paulo.

Each in-person hub will provide support during the course, facilitating contact and networking between participating teachers.

How the UFABC selection process works

The selection of candidates will take place between October and January, and the Selection Committee will be responsible for evaluating the profiles of each applicant.

According to the notice, the process will consider criteria such as length of teaching experience, participation in academic events and academic training.

The best-ranked candidates will have priority in the selection of vacancies, which will be distributed among the centers. After the evaluation, UFABC will release the list of selected candidates on the day 24 January 2025.

In addition to being a rigorous process, the notice guarantees transparency and equal conditions for all candidates, allowing the best qualified teachers to participate in the course.
