Opportunity to participate in the Young Apprentice Program in 2024
Mineração Rio do Norte (MRN) is open for registration for the Young Apprentice Program in 2024, offering a unique chance for young people from district of Porto Trombetas and nearby areas. In partnership with the National Industrial Learning Service (SENAI), the program offers 60 places, distributed between the Industrial Machine Maintenance Mechanics and Heavy Road Equipment Maintenance Mechanics courses, with 30 places each. Registration remains open until June 03rd and can be completed on the MRN Opportunities Portal.
The Young Apprentice Program is aimed at young people aged between 18 and 22, who have completed secondary education and can prove it through a certificate and school transcript. In addition to residents of the Porto Trombetas district, children of employees of MRN or third-party companies operating in the region can also participate in the selection process.
The program structure includes theoretical classes taught by SENAI and practical activities in MRN's operational areas, ensuring complete and integrated training. Activities will begin soon, with four hours a day, from Monday to Friday. The minimum duration of the program is one year, expected to start in June 2024, following the schedule established by the institution.
