DOF Group signed new contracts with Petrobras to charter the ships Skandi Niterói and Skandi Botafogo in Brazil. The long-term contracts strengthen the Norwegian company's presence in the offshore support market, guaranteeing operations until 2029.
DOF Group, a Norwegian company specialized in maritime services, consolidates its strong presence in the Brazilian market with the signing of two new charter contracts with Petrobras. The agreements involve the support vessels Skandi Niterói and Skandi Botafogo, significantly expanding DOF's project portfolio in the country.
Skandi Niterói arrives as a reinforcement in the PLSV fleet
The Skandi Niterói, a 142,2 meter long pipeline installation support vessel (PLSV), will have its operations with Petrobras extended through a new three-year contract, scheduled to start in 2025 with an option for extension.
Owned by Dofcon Navegação Ltda., a joint venture between DOF Subsea (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%), the ship is an important asset for complex offshore operations.

Skandi Botafogo: Continuity and expansion of AHTS services
The Skandi Botafogo, an anchoring support vessel (AHTS), continues in operation for Petrobras until the first quarter of 2025.
From then on, a new charter contract lasting four years, plus a one-year option, will continue the successful partnership between the companies.
Before the start of the new contract, the ship will be equipped with a work class ROV (remotely operated vehicle) with a rated capacity of 3.000 meters, further enhancing its capabilities.

The new contracts with Petrobras reinforce DOF Group's position as a strategic partner for the Brazilian oil and gas giant.

Since the beginning of this month, the company had already announced a contract with Petrobras for the charter of the PLSV Skandi Vitória vessel.
In April, DOF also secured agreements with the Brazilian oil company to charter the AHTS vessels Skandi Amazonas and Skandi Rio.
