Using new technologies to withstand extreme temperatures, the new pressure vessel promises to make a strong contribution to the oil and natural gas industry. The Multittech project had R$ 2 million in investments over the last 18 months.
The industry oil and natural gas continues to improve more and more and has new high-tech equipment this Thursday, (01/12). This is a new pressure vessel developed by the São Paulo company Multittech, which aims to bring more efficiency for use in extreme temperatures, strong impacts and vibrations in critical areas. Thus, the project promises to modernize and bring more efficiency to exploration campaigns in the national territory.
Multittech's new pressure vessel is the new bet to ensure more efficiency and safety in explorations in the oil and natural gas sector
The company from the interior of São Paulo, Multittech, has a new project in progress and promises to make a strong contribution to undertakings in the oil and natural gas industry in the coming years.
The company has been investing BRL 2 million over the last 18 months to develop new equipment and research aimed at greater efficiency in conditions of extreme temperature, intense vibrations and impacts during exploration campaigns in the segment.

Among the various pieces of equipment developed during this project period, the highlight was the pressure vessel for testing pumps of up to 20 psi — 5 meters x 10 inches in internal diameter.
The equipment is the company's new bet for the oil and natural gas industry, as it withstands extreme conditions and may contribute to greater safety during drilling and exploration of fuels in Brazil.
“The internal and external pressure tests replicate the deep or ultra-deep environment of the wells, with the mission of validating the sealing of components and well equipment such as pipes and hydraulic lines, ensuring their operation in extreme conditions”, explained civil engineer Anselmo Fioranelli , Master in Structural Engineering from USP and responsible for the tests at Multittech.
Multittech's project strictly followed the rules of the oil and gas market to ensure good performance of the new pressure vessel
All the research carried out by Multittech's internal team followed the recommendations and norms of Petrobras and the National Petroleum Agency for the development of the project during the last 18 months.
In this way, the new equipment will be able to bring even more benefits and, of course, safety in fuel exploration, since the pressure vessel is one of the key parts for oil production in Brazil.
This is because the company serves several major players in the national fuel market, thus requiring even more efficiency and quality in the equipment delivered to the industry.
“Reliability assessments, combined with virtual simulation and a real laboratory, allow for early validation, in a shorter period of time, and then extrapolate to a longer period of time, validating that the equipment will function properly for at least 20 years. , with little or no maintenance”, concluded Fioranelli.
Now, Multittech will continue with the research in the project, aiming at improvements in the pressure vessel for an even greater control of its benefits.
