The Navy contest has 686 vacancies for men and women, you just need to be between 18 and 21 years old and 1,54 to 2 meters tall
The Brazilian Navy will open a competition with 686 vacancies for admission to the School of Marine Apprentices. This year, men and women will be able to compete for vacancies: there are 638 vacancies for men and 48 vacancies for females. The prerequisites to participate in the Navy contest and compete for vacancies are to have completed high school, be between 1,54 and 2 meters tall and be between 18 years old and under 22 years old by June 30, 2023.

The navy training course will last 48 weeks and will be on an internship basis. The course will take place in Florianópolis (SC), Fortaleza (CE), Olinda (PE) and Vila Velha (ES), at the Sailor Apprentice Schools in these municipalities.
Those who get the vacancies will take technical courses in electronics, support or mechanics during training and it must be specified which area the student wants to follow during the application for the contest. During the course, the Navy provides students with a uniform, food and medical, dental and psychological assistance, among others. In addition, there will be remuneration of R$ 1.398,30. At the end of the course, apprentices will have to commit to two years of service. After these two years, they will become sailors, with a salary of R$ 2.294,50.

How to Apply for the Navy Contest
To participate in the Navy contest, interested parties must register from 8 am on March 28, 2022 until 23:59 pm on April 10, 2022, through the Navy website. The registration fee is BRL 40,00, and must be done by April 14, 2022, during banking hours.
The contest will have seven stages, they are:
- Objective, eliminatory and classificatory test;
- Verification of Biographical Data and Documentary Verification, eliminatory;
- Health Inspection, eliminatory;
- Entrance Physical Aptitude Test, elimination round;
- Psychological Assessment;
- Heteroidentification procedure.
The objective test stage will take place on June 5, 2022 and will last four hours. The test will have 50 multiple-choice questions in Portuguese, English, Mathematics and Science subjects.
